Richard Garner

Richard Garner (Rick) is an award winning mortgage broker who has worked in financial services since 2002. In that time he has helped hundreds of clients with their finances. Having over 20 years in financial services Rick has a depth of experience encompassing most aspects of the financial services and wealth management industry. He is highly experienced in all forms of lending – residential home loans, commercial loans, equipment finance, debtor finance and cashflow lending.

Rick is non-executive director on the board of Qantas Superannuation Limited (QSL), currently serving on two sub committees, Audit and Risk & Member Experience & Insurance. He previously served on the Investment committee. QSL manage approx $8.5B in assets. Rick is experienced with property investment and property development, covering all aspects from feasibility, financing, risk management, project management and delivery.

Through regular communication, market updates and conducting reviews, Rick’s aim is to position you and your family for future growth by ensuring your loan remains relevant. Rick is a qualified financial adviser with a decade of advice experience to both wholesale and retail clients. He was authorised by 3 AFS licensees and appointed responsible manager by ASIC for a boutique AFSL (Australian Financial Services Licence).

This licence included sophisticated products such as derivatives and foreign exchange, which are over and above the standard licensing conditions authorised to most wealth management firms. This capability enabled him to provide bespoke complex solutions to high net worth clients. Rick is also an international airline pilot on the A330 Airbus with a major Australian Airline and has spent 5 years in the Australian Defence Force. He has 3 sons, and enjoys sailing, and rugby and golf.
